Welcome to Chintsa Xanadu
We are a small, family-orientated time-share resort dedicated to keeping it enjoyable and affordable without sacrificing quality. We have 18 duplex chalets and a flat in beautiful Chintsa East on the Eastern Cape Coast, near East London. The natural beauty of our location means there's an emphasis on outdoor living, so enjoy the view of the ocean or the lagoon from your deck or terrace, (available to many units) while your children explore nature or play in the recreation centre. Chintsa Xanadu is not pet friendly. Spend a holiday at Chintsa Xanadu and like us, you will want to keep coming back time, and time again!
Our Facility
Our Mediterranean-style duplex chalets are each fully equipped for up to 6 people (incl. TV, towels and bedding). They feature their own private patio, braai facilities, open-plan dining room, lounge (with two sleeper couches), kitchen, bathroom, main bedroom with double bed and ensuite, and two single beds in an upstairs bedroom. The chalets are serviced Monday to Friday with the exclusion of public holidays.
The recreation centre boasts a sauna, a pool and a separate baby pool, table tennis, a pool table and a laundromat.
There is a manager's flat (one bedroom) available on special request.
Location
The magnificent beach and secure lagoon invite you to walk, swim, surf or simply enjoy the sun. Bring your own equipment and go boogie boarding or kite surfing in summer. The well-known fishing grounds off Kei River Mouth are only minutes away.
Other sports activities in the area include horse riding, hiking and bird watching, fly fishing, extreme wave jumping, kiteboarding and microlite flights. We will be happy to help you with bookings and directions at the Xanadu reception.
Olivewood Golf Course is approximately 10 km from Xanadu. Visit the private Game Reserve, Inkwenkwezi,(10km from Xanadu) or enjoy the sunset from the top of the dune at C Club Restaurant (1km from Xanadu). Other facilities at Chintsa East include a restaurant, Sundowner at Emerald Vale Brewery (6km from Xanadu), cafe and bar, a general store and a petrol station.

* By means of a Share Certificate, issued under the Shareblocks Control Act of 1980, you will have full legal ownership of your chalet during the ‘time period’ you choose. You may own one or more weeks in the Chalet of your choice for a specific period every year. You share proportionally in a moderate service and maintenance levy. You may bequeath, sublet or resell your selected week/s as long as levies are up-to-date. You may exchange your time for a more convenient time (if available). Your investment enjoys prime capital appreciation.
